I’ll never forget the day I met him.
Lately, my life had turned out to me a dark tunnel with no lights and I was still getting over it. So, he appeared in my life as if he was everything I had ever wanted. It could be said the way we met ourselves is really curious…some "fate’s desire" or much better, some "weather’s will"...who knows.
That day I had to go shopping with a friend and we had arranged to meet us at twelve at the park. Having arrived a bit earlier, I got into a café to wait for her. Being there staring into space with a delicious hot coffee in my hands, she texted me saying she could not come because she had been grounded.
With no friend and no plan, I stood up ready to come back home when, suddenly, it started raining heavily and I hadn’t brought my umbrella. I could not go pretty far with such a flood.
So, I sat down again to wait until the rain stops.
Having waited for a while, I noticed the presence of a pretty handsome and sad-look man sitting near to me. It seemed he had been there for ages. He was doing nothing…but staring into space, thinking maybe.
“Thinking about what” I thought to myself. He didn’t look sad really, neither angry nor concerned. He seemed…happy?

Then, abruptly, I realised it. He had an umbrella, but he didn’t seem to have the intention to leave the café. He was stuck there, mesmerized by the rain drops dancing on the windows…what a beautiful thing to be hypnotized by…
I had been staring at him unconsciously for a long, so he noticed it. Then he met my gaze and looked at me thoroughly what made me feel some electric and unusual feeling which made me flinch delightfully.

Still gazing each other amused both of us, he stood up and walked straightly to me. Despite of I was trembling and my heart was beating quickly, I did any move but look at him come to me. Then, having sat in front of me so close I could smell the perfume in his neck, he told me with that sweet and lovely voice which I’m still in love:
“Would you like to share an umbrella with me in such a rainy and wonderful day?”
Since that day, rain is no longer to me such a sad thing…
No matter where you are, no matter how the weather is, no matter “when” you are…the capital matter is being with that person who makes you feel you’ve got sunshine even in the most rainy days.
